Special Event

The Public Studio is a creative day of open, drop-in making at 421 Arts Campus, inviting visitors of all ages and experience levels to spend time making, experimenting, and exploring.

421 transforms into an open creative space where visitors can move freely between different making stations, experiment with a range of materials and processes, and follow their own curiosity without the pressure of producing a finished or perfect object.

Designed to be accessible, informal, and playful, The Public Studio encourages visitors to simply try something new. Whether spending a few minutes at one station or settling in for the whole afternoon, we’re inviting our community to embrace the fun of being creative, without the pressure to make something perfect.
