Children's Programming

Spark your child’s curiosity and take them on a journey around the world in this family-centered learning series developed with the Montessori Network Middle East (MNME), a community-led Abu Dhabi initiative for homeschooling families.

Join us at 421 Arts Campus for a creative curriculum-based series of sessions throughout the Spring season. Designed for parents and children aged 5-8, each session combines movement-based storytelling, hands-on creative activities, and playful math and chess exercises. Together, families explore the art, craft, culture, and biodiversity of countries around the world, building a collective World Map throughout the season.

Sessions run weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays, with special Meet the Artist events on the third Friday of each month.

Each session blends creative exploration with structured learning. Families begin with Somatic Storytelling, a movement-based narrative session led by sports professional Joelle Beyrouthy, where stories of place and culture unfold through stretching and guided movement. This is followed by subject-based workshops, ranging from geography and botany to zoology, alongside Maths Chess, where educator Charlotte Hauptfleisch introduces mathematical thinking and strategic play using unconventional tools such as bean bags, popcorn counters, and paint!

Every third Friday of the month, the program hosts ‘Meet the Artist’, a Montessori-aligned gathering where families explore the work of a visual artist together through conversation and hands-on creative activities.

Designed to be tactile, and playful, the program encourages young learners to build cultural curiosity, creative confidence, and early problem-solving skills alongside their families.
