
Mays Albaik
Mays Albaik is the Program Manager at Warehouse421. She leads on conceptualizing and structuring the center’s programs for its various audiences. Her focus at Warehouse421 is on the broader vision as she sets the five-year strategy, drawing plans for exhibitions, general public offerings, and capacity-building programs that target the local and regional creative community.
Before joining Warehouse421, Mays worked with the Sharjah Art Foundation’s architecture and production team, designing venues, coordinating exhibitions, and facilitating art production. In 2018, she worked with the contemporary art curatorial department at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum in Rhode Island, USA.
she recently opened her first solo show 'A Terranean Love Note' at Tashkeel, Dubai, and has participated in various exhibitions including ‘Qala 0.8900’ (Darat Al Funun, Jordan); ‘BWWB’ (Helix Art Gallery, Brooklyn, New York); ‘Sawt 2a’ (Grey Noise, Dubai). Her work is currently on Display at The Louvre Abu Dhabi as a finalist in the first Richard Milles Art Prize.
Mays is a graduate of the American University of Sharjah; she received her Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a graduation project that received several awards, including a medal from the Architecture Research Centers Consortium. She obtained her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Mays is an alumna of the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Emerging Artists Fellowship (SEAF).

Maryam Wissam Al Dabbagh
A writer, researcher and communication consultant, Maryam has worked in the communication and culture sector since 2003.
A published writer; she has exhibited her words as part of a literary installation at the Jameel Arts Centre in Dubai, and Portraits of a Nation II by ADMAF in Abu Dhabi.
She developed and curated several exhibitions over the last ten years.
She is a researcher on archiving, immigrant identity and language, and has numerous articles and essays on identity politics published in journals in the UAE and the region. She is also the co-founder of Rouya Consultancy.
Maryam is a member of Dubai’s Collection Committee under the leadership of Her Highness Shaikha Latifa Bint Mohammad Al Maktoum.
