Palm Tray Set by Reem Jeghel

Inspired by the rich textures and hues of the palm husks, the Palm tray set celebrates the material and brings forth its richness of texture and color. It follows the silhouette of the veneer pieces to maintain the organic flow of the fibrous pieces and the natural aesthetic of the product. The Palm tray set brings warmth to any interior place and taps into a new outlook on the narrative of nature in the UAE.

Reem Jeghel is a designer based in the UAE. She was selected to be an Athath fellow in 2021 and her latest project was recently exhibited in Dutch Design Week's "Materialized" exhibition. She was also part of the "UAE Designer Exhibition" in Downtown Design during Dubai Design Week 2022 in which her work has been featured in international design publications.
