Season Program
Winter 2025 Program
22 January - 21 March

This winter, we pause on the feelings of collective exhaustion and lean towards experiences guided by curiosity, and the urge to create, all while embodying the spirit of 421, fostering a shared sense of community.
As we close 2024, a year marked by doom scrolling, regional violence and scattered mental states, we invite our community to find comfort in the collective. Let’s intentionally slow down and find moments of pause for our over-stimulated minds, as we navigate the political, economic, and social systems that are pushing us to a collective burn out.
The Winter 2025 program focuses on gentleness, tactile activities, fostering spaces of togetherness, restoration, and a collective sense of renewal. Expect a range of events that center on making for the sake of making—on stitching, writing, walking, cooking, watching, and moving as a shared experience. Cornerstone events like Jamming Sessions, Performance Co/Lab, the Khayal Series, and Pencil In anchor the season, alongside new artist-led workshops, community-led "Stitch In" activations, regionally themed film screenings, and more.
Running in tandem with the program are the exhibitions, Alla Abdunabi: Are your memories of me enough for you?, and Abdullah Al Saadi: Sites of Memory, Sites of Amnesia, curated by Tarek Abou El Fetouh.
This season will also mark the debut of Block Barty! The outdoor event features pop-up vendors, independent brands, eclectic workshops, diverse entertainment, neighborhood walks, and obviously, more art.
This Winter 2025 program also features a number of Ramadan events and activities happening throughout the holy month that foster shared moments of tactility, community, healing, and solidarity.
