Summer 2025 Program
29 June - 19 September
29 June - 19 September
This season’s program unfolds through a series of “everyday acts of remembering”: poetry-writing and stone-carving sessions, map-making and hands-on workshops that explore how we remember, create, and share. In true 421 spirit, we’re bringing back some community favorites for a summer of slow exploration. Look out for Jamming Sessions, Pencil and Stitch-Ins, the Khayal Series, and Messy Plays. We’re also opening our spaces to private reading circles and book clubs through an open call running all summer long.
By combining tools of documentation with everyday acts of care and creativity, the program invites us to see preservation not as something fixed, but as something in motion. A note written in a rush, a hand-etched stone, a dish made from memory: these small gestures hold meaning. Rather than trying to capture or define the season, we’re embracing the in-between: process over product, care over certainty, and attention to the moments that might otherwise slip away.
