Aljoud Lootah’s production of bespoke furniture, objects & collectible designs has cemented her reputation as a skilled interpreter of traditional artisanal techniques through a contemporary designer’s lens. Named as a top fifty talent in architecture and design by Architectural Digest Middle East in 2018 and 2019, she also serves as a Member of the Board of Dubai Women Establishment, founded in 2006 to support women across the United Arab Emirates. Since her studio’s establishment in 2014, Lootah has continued to tell her story through a functional and timeless body of work that explores the intersection between heritage and modernity.
